Life is hectic. Things are going on that are making it difficult for me to decide what I'm doing with my life. I don't know. Life is crazy, but what else is new. Life is always crazy.
I've been really updating my blog entries on MySpace, so if you're on there friend me. I should try to update here more often, or at least copy the entries here to keep this up, but that's about it that's going on.

Currently Listening
Grease - The New Broadway Cast Recording (1994 Revival)
By Jim Jacobs, Warren Casey, Rosie O'Donnell, Sam Harris
see related

Totally ignored this...

I can't believe that I've ignored this the way that I have.
Well, I'm not going to really bother going into trying to catch up but school has been ridiculous. I can't keep up with it anymore. I had to drop my Macroeconomics class, which sucks, and am far too busy, as usual.
I am attempting to switch into Elementary Education (crazy huh?) and I found out that I'm lactose intolerant. Oh joy.
So Chad and I have been going out for WAY over a year now . On October 16th Chad gave me a 'promise' ring. So that's very exciting, although some people think it's corny I love it. And I love him. Tons. End of story.
In other news:
I am the director of our spring musical which is Grease. I just made the cast list after callbacks and am very excited about it so far. I have a 46 member cast and couldn't be happier!
I am also cast in Proof which it is officially hell week for. My character is Claire and I'm in the show with Lauren Gohde (Catherine), Ryan Chalfant (Hal) and Matt Stern (Robert/Father). The show goes on November 16-17-18 in Memorial Auditorium at 8:00pm. Tickets for S.U. students are $2.00.
Chad also has his show following that November 19th at 2:00pm and 8:00pm and 20th at 8:00pm in Memorial. The show is Moon Over Buffalo and it is a comedy. It's hilarious. If you have nothing to do on Sunday I would suggest going to see it.
As you can see Act V is going crazy. It's hell week for both shows and "Proof" isn't doing so hot, but hopefully we'll get our shit together before showtime.
I can't wait to go home over Thanksgiving break and see my family and everyone. I just will need to unwind and everything after this show. Detox.
I hope not to neglect this as much in the future.

Respectfully submitted,
Laura :)

So Ship begins again...

I can't believe that I haven't written since before band camp. So I've gone through my second year of band camp. The first week of classes is over and it's been interesting. So far I know someone in each one of my classes, except Intro to Music, but Fam's the prof so it's okay. My schedule looks something like this...
Tuesday:
    8:00-9:15a  World History II
  9:30-10:45a   Intro to Music
11:00-12:15p   Basic Biology
 12:30-1:45p    Voice Class I
  2:00-3:15p     Shakespeare
  6:30-9:15p     Principles of Macroeconomics

Thursday:
    8:00-9:15a  World History II
  9:30-10:45a   Intro to Music
11:00-12:15p   Basic Biology
 12:30-1:45p    Voice Class I
  2:00-3:15p     Shakespeare

Then usually 3:30-5:30p I have Marching Band. It's crazy. It's kind of fun though. Oh well.

Classes are hard. Well at least my Shakespeare is kind of hard. It's a 300-level so I suppose it's supposed to be, but I have Megan in the class with me, so it's okay. In Biology I have Ryan and Nate and in World History Jeff is there. Voice Class 1 I have the most though; Lauren & Dan mainly. It should prove to be an okay year. This semester is starting to suck already though.
Act V is off to a slow start. I kind of seem to feel as though I'm one of the only ones that cares if we get anything off the ground...and on that note I'm going to make a poster for our table on Wednesday. Leave the love.

OMG! Summer needs to  be over right now. It's killing me. I am so friggin bored. I hate it.
Hopefully I'm going home again during the beginning of August, which would be nice. I'm going for about a week or so, Chad is supposed to take me up, and hopefully my mom can bring me back before Band Camp. I'm actually looking foward to marching around for like 13 hours a day, just because it means I'll be DOING something.
Don't get me wrong, I've loved this summer with Chad...I have...
But I'm bored, but happy. Does that make sense at all? I'm happy I'm with HIM, but bored by the surroundings. There we go.

Hope everyone is having a nice summer!

Back in Pittsburgh for awhile. Chad's in Shippensburg, which is sad. I'm going to miss him, but it's only a week so it won't be too horrible.
I'm going to spend some time with my mom, get some stuff done around the house, and hopefully see a few friends. That will be nice.
In debt a little bit since I'm not working at Hershey anymore. Yeah, BTW Chad and I can't work there anymore. Kind of sucks.
Ah well, hoping to apply somewhere in Ship, a job that I can keep for the fall since I only have classes two days a week. But yeah, a lack of job puts me in a little debt. I still owe money for rent at Bard for the summer, as well as car insurance, cell phone payment, meds and living expenses. Ah well, I'm  fat now so I guess I can cut down on food, right? :-p
Hope everyone is having a great summer!
